Johnna's Pick of the Week: OpenCity (D.C.)

Truly a gem JKGF stumbled on a little over a year ago when we found OpenCity in D.C. Hungover?? Late night at the office?? or just in need of some good 'ole caffeine?? OpenCity is your rest haven! The food is good, the drinks are tasty (*we likey the warm apple cider...which is really hard to find in these parts;-)...but these aren't the only things that shine at OpenCity...it's the service. The hostess, waiters, everybody is there to serve you and make your inexpensive dining experience a good one:-) Unusual these days, huh?? Well OpenCity is the reminder that there is still good service and good food to be had...you must stop by if only to try the cider...we're serious guys, it's good.

*Good trys: We never had a bad experience with the sandwiches, the pancakes or the eggie breakfast options. (*Note to yourself: Breakfast is served ALL day! Roll out of bed on Saturday @ 3pm and get your eat on...but Beware: The wait on the weekends to get in can be anywhere from 15-45 minutes...)
