Food.Fun.Stuff: Trying Not to Spill My Merlot...
Bastille Day!! Yaay for wine and french maids! So today feel free to pull out your best french maid costume (*We can definitely identify at least 3 people in our lives who have one of these on hand...so don't act like you don't have one...) and a glass of cabernet in celebration of Bastille Day. Bastille Day is a French National Holiday that marks the storming of the Bastille fortress-prison and was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern nation (*Get more info here.) In Paris, people will be celebrating on Champs-Élysées Avenue in front of the President of the Republic. In DC, folks will be gathering anywhere there is good wine and French Maid races, hence you should think about hitting up Cafe L'Enfant. Cafe L'Enfant will be hosting French Maid races and free cake. We hope there's some sort of wine special involved in this whole ordeal, but at least you get some good laughs and sweets.
