Leftover Pizza
Have some left over Pita Bread and basil that's about to go bad in your fridge?? Make a pizza!
Leftover Pizza
1 pita bread
Fresh basil
2 oz. fresh mozzarella
1/2 cup Tomato sauce
2 tbsp. olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a baking sheet, lay the pita flat, spread the tomato sauce on the pita, top with fresh basil and add the mozzarella. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes or until cheese has melted. Eat!
*Johnna's tip: This is a great way to get rid of things in your fridge that are headed towards going bad i.e top the pizza with some left over olives or add in some feta cheese. Add whatever you have even if it's some potato chips (*Take it from Buca di Beppo...potato chips on pizza is good!!)...Pig out!
