Food.Fun.Stuff: Penalized for Being a Foodie?
Penalized for Being a Foodie
Who would've thought being a foodie would get you kicked out of a political office?? Well, the Prime Minister of Thailand, Samak Sundaravej, is facing being kicked out of office for appearances that he made on a cooking show. In Constitutional Court on Monday, the Prime Minister argued that he did not break the prohibition on private employment while in political office. The results should be released today. If things go sour, he will be forced to resign...If things go his way, he will be in office and still whip up dishes such as "salmon coconut soup" (*Although, he still will not have an easy way if he stays in office, as this man has so many other things that could possibly get him escorted out of the political castle...)
What are your thoughts?? Should he be booted out of office for this?? Why or Why not?? Comments welcome below;-)
