Today we are going to change things up a bit (*Instead of posting a drink recipe and recipe)...JKGF is suffering from a hangover! We thought it only proper to discuss how to cure this common ailment that hunts many after a what seemed like the most fantastic night of your life after drink #4, but really is the demise of your next morning...So here it goes, a list of the best food and drink remedies for the day after:
Before the damage is done....
*Eat 6 raw almonds to avoid having a hangover
*Eat Peanut Butter
*Drink Tomato Juice
*Drink about 3 glasses of WATER
*Drink sports drinks high in electrolytes
After the damage is done....
*Apples are good on an empty stomach
*Eat chicken soup
*Raw cabbage is good for a headache
*Drink tomato Juice (*Try a Bloody Mary)
*Ginger tea helps on soothing the stomach...

Very good information in this post, as I didn't know a lot of these things. Drinking plenty of gatorade after a long night of drinking has always been the remedy that works best for me to not have a hangover. Being hung-over is the brain/body being de-hydrated. That's the same reason a person drinking water along with their cocktails, wine or beers off-sets the effect that liquor has on your brain and body during the night. Good info though!
