Grilled Turkey Sliders
Grilled Turkey Sliders
1 lb. ground turkey (*or ground chicken or beef may be used)
8 oz. cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic
1/2 cup onions (chopped) (*optional)
Oil (*Olive oil suggested)
12 small size potato rolls (dinner rolls)
Grill (*or may be cooked in skillet on stove)
In a bowl combine the turkey, cheese, onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Roll the mixture into 12 small balls and flatten in between your palms to form small patties. Fire the grill up and grill burgers over medium heat, for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Toast the top and bottoms of the rolls for a couple of minutes. Stack the rolls with the burgers and whatever toppings that you like and serve!
*Johnna's tip: Suggested toppings include lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard...the usuals for a burger just in a miniature size:-)
*Johnna's tip, tip: Great with "So you like Pina Colada?" (found on JKGF) as the summer begins to heat up...chill by the pool, invite some friends over, eat some sliders and drink some Coladas!
