Apple Crisp
Apple Crisp
4-5 apples (pared and sliced)
1/2 cup cinnamon sugar
1 tbsp. butter (softened)
1/2 sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange apples in circular layers in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake while preparing the batter.
Batter: Cream butter and sugar; mix with remaining ingredients. Spread the batter evenly over the sliced apples and place back in oven for 35-40 minutes. Let stand to cool and serve!
*Johnna's tip: Serve with your favorite ice cream or a whipped topping. Also, for a crispier taste, let it bake for about 40-45 minutes. Enjoy!
