CinnaTea (Non-Alcoholic)
Drinks on Me:
CinnaTea
2 tea bags
1 1/2 cups water
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar (*you may use less depending on how much sugar you like.)
1 stick of cinnamon
4 cloves
1 1/2 cups water
In a pot bring the cloves, water and cinnamon to a boil. Remove them from the heat and add in the tea bags. Let stand for 5-7 minutes until tea has spread throughout. Add in the lemon juice, sugar and some hot, hot water to taste. Stir ingredients together and serve in your favorite coffee/tea mugs.
*Johnna's tip: Winter, Summer, Winter, Summer...that's the best part about this recipe, it can be used in the winter or summer. Add ice or chill the tea for 4-6 hours before serving for the summer version with a few slices of lemon to decorate the rim of the glass.
