3-Cheese Ziti
1 (16 oz.) package ziti
1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese
1 (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 egg (lightly beaten)
1/4 cup parseley (chopped)
1 garlic clove (minced)
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Pinch of ground nutmeg
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish. In a large bowl, blend Ricotta, 1 cup Mozzarella, egg, parseley, garlic, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in ziti. Spoon into prepared casserole dish and sprinkle on top the remaining Mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake until golden brown on top, approximately 30-35 minutes. Serve!
*Johnna's tip: Add some garlic bread in the mix for a delightful Italian dinner;-)
