My Bread Pudding

Bread Pudding

6 eggs
1 qt. milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup sweet butter
4 slices bread (broken into cubes)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Cream eggs, milk and sugar. Add in the vanilla. Melt the butter and soak into bread cubes. Pour into a casserole baking dish and sprinkle the nutmeg on top. Bake for 45-50 minutes uncovered. Serve.

*Johnna's tip: A little cinnamon, bourbon sauce and/or a whipped topping could make this bread pudding more than just your basic bread pudding recipe...
