Drinks on Me: Green Tea Lemonade (Non-Alcoholic)
Green Tea Lemonade
4 cups cold water
4 green tea bags
2 1/2 cups water
1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup sugar
1 lemon
In a pot bring cold water to boiling; remove from heat and drop in the green tea bags. Allow tea to steep for a few minutes and then discard the bags. In a pitcher, combine all ingredients; chill at least 2-4 hours. Squeeze juice from lemon into the pitcher; stir. Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes.
*Johnna's tip: Leave the sugar out if you are watching your sugar intake. We added in the sugar because lemonade/tea mixes just seems right with a little sugar in the tank. Garnish with any additional mint leaves you have on hand.
