Food.Fun.Stuff: Art, Food and Queens
Art and Food go together like Pepperoni on Pizza...they work well when put in the same space;-) Lucky for the good folks of Washington (*and tourists who will be in the area...), art and food will be coming together @ the Lunchtime Panel Discussion: Collecting Drawing. This will be a panel discussion on collecting, coveting, and the connoisseurship of drawing with artists Kate McGraw, Ann Tarantino, and Allison G. Marvin, collector, and Luis Silva, Professor and Chair of the Department of Art, American University. The event will be moderated by Philippa Hughes of The Pink Line Project.

(*For those that will be in the NY area) There will be a benefit dinner @ Queens County Farm Museum (NY) on May 1. The dinner is to benefit the nonprofit Queens County Farm Museum and will feature presentations by farmers, followed by a five-course dinner prepared by the Hapa Kitchen (*Created by fellow food blogger Cathy of "Not Eating Out in New York") and will focus on free-range lamb. You can tour the farm and enjoy the bonfire and wines that will be in the mix.
The Money: $75, get your tickets here, seats are limited...
