Fresh Cut French Fries

Fresh Cut French Fries

Potatoes (*Desired amount based on how many people your serving)
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
Minced Garlic (to taste)
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
Oil (for frying)

Heat oil over medium heat. Cut potatoes into french fry shape and add to the hot oil (*BE CAREFUL!). Fry potatoes until browned or slightly browned (*depending on your taste). Drain on a plate with a paper towel over it. Season fries with salt and pepper. Spread minced garlic over the french fries and sprinkle vinegar over the fries. Give a little shake (*this ensures the garlic and vinegar can spread a little more over the fries) and Serve!

*Johnna's tip: These fries were inspired by JKGF time spent at the Stinking Rose (*JKGF Pick of the Week-March 21, 2008) in Los Angeles. This place is a garlic haven where everything is served with garlic, even the ice cream. The minced garlic over the fries adds just the right flavor to the American classic. The fries go good with some yogurt dipping sauce (*Recipe found on JKGF) or ketchup.
