Drinks on Me: Apple Pie Smoothie (Non-Alcoholic)


Apple Pie Smoothie

1/2 cup nonfat yogurt
8 oz. nonfat milk
2 tbsp. frozen apple juice concentrate
Dash of ground cinnamon
1/2 whole green apple (seeded and cut in pieces)
3 ice cubes


Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve.

*Johnna's tip: We know many of your resolutions involve eating healthier, losing weight, blah, blah, blah. In the words of Paula Deen "We are not your doctor" so we post recipes that we like without all the healthy talk. We do, however, love a good, healthy recipe especially when its reminiscent of food that is so sinfully fattening. This apple pie smoothie recipe takes you on the journey of that apple pie ala mode that you love to indulge in...leave out the actual and use this recipe to stay healthy but remember the good times.
