Happy Monday: Public Bar (DC)
Each Monday we spotlight a Happy Hour in the District (*There are a serious lack of resources to find out about a good happy hour...). This week our attention turns to Public Bar (*who we thank for having their happy hour information readily available on their website;-). Public Bar is right on the tip of the Dupont Circle neighborhood and is leading the pack in this area of being the "go to" sports bar. Game season is in full effect no matter what your sport of choice is: baseball (Go Yankees!), football (Redskins could be better...) or basketball (Is Arena's going to make it happen this year?). Public is the place to be if you're into any or all of this for two reasons: 1. there are so many big screens in this spot and 2. You will be amongst the many who want to throw their fist to the air when their team scores without getting a side eye like at some other places that don't cater to sports viewing...ohh and there's beer too:-)

Yeah def don't go there outside of happy hour if you are ballin on a budget because the drinks are usually pretty expensive...aka $9 Amaretto Sour yikes!
Wow, that is a pretty penny. Thanks Erin for the info!
Thanks for the post. Sorry some think we're overpriced, but we try to price middle of the road, we hope. Some HHs are even free like this Tuesday's Beer and Cheese Tasting. 6:30 to 8:30. Free to the first 100.
