Food.Fun.Stuff: Open For Business

1. Remember about a month ago, we mentioned to you there was going to be an opening for a spot called Eatonville?? Well, that day has finally come and the doors will officially open on Friday, May 15, 2009. The menu boasts classic, healthy southern cooking "without compromising the taste". This venture comes from the same folks who brought you Busboys & Poets, so we're going in with high expectations.

The Low Down: The spot is opening on Friday but there will be a "soft-opening" (*this always amuses us when people call the opening before the real opening "soft") on Wednesday and Thursday (*Soft-openings translation: The restaurant will open its doors and people can get a preview of what to expect on Friday but there won't be a fully stocked bar or full menu...). Also, in order to get a bite on Friday, you will need to make a reservation (*Reservations can be made tomorrow). After Friday, however, no need for reservations, just stop by and see what all the talk is about.
