1. Tomorrow the Washington Post's nightlife experts are hosting free snacks and a shuffleboard tournament @ The Rocket Bar.
The Where: Rocket Bar, 714 Seventh St., NW Washington, D.C., (202) 628-7665.
Why Go?: A lucky winner of the shuffleboard contest will receive an iPod shuffle (*even more reason to swing by;-)
The When: It's going down from 6-8 p.m.
The Money: FREE to enter:-)

2. St. Patrick's Day comes a few days earlier...there will be a St. Patrick's Day celebration at Duffy's Irish Pub on Thursday with food and plenty of beer specials to go around.

The Money: FREE:-)
