Drinks on Me: Caramel Milk (Non-Alcoholic)


Caramel Milk

2 cups milk
5 tbsp. brown sugar (packed and divided)
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (divided)

In a microwave safe bowl, add the milk and heat in the microwave on High for 1-1/2 minutes. Pour milk into mugs. Stir in half brown sugar in one mug and the other half in the other; repeat with the vanilla extract. Serve hot.

*Johnna's tip: With temperatures clearly below 50 degrees in the District and much of the East Coast, warm food and drinks are still needed. Warm up with this new twist on milk and brown sugar, Enjoy and stay warm!
