Food.Fun.Stuff: Cupcakes in Penn Quarter...FREE!

Cupcakes are spreading in the District like no other. As usual, we like our readers to be the first to know and in the know how, so here's the low down on this Thursday (January 15, 2008):

Red Velvet (*the newest addition to the Districts cupcake family) will be handing out FREE (*let us repeat...FREE) cupcakes to the first 500 customers! We are excited and plan on being well, uhh...somewhere between the 5th and 10th customer to get in on the freebies. Come out and test the treats that will be baked in the new Penn Quarter location. More details and reviews of this spot to come, but for now just plan out how you're going to sneak out of the office to get a FREE cupcake...
